Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs: Create comprehensive training modules and presentations on rotating and compressor equipment, tailored to the specific needs of the client and focusing on Siemens equipment
  • Conduct hands-on training: Organize and lead practical training sessions, providing participants with hands-on experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting rotating machinery
  • Technical expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the design, operation, and maintenance of various types of pumps, compressors, and turbines, including centrifugal pumps, centrifugal and axial compressors, and steam and gas turbines
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Teach participants how to identify and resolve common issues and failures in rotating equipment, with an emphasis on effective troubleshooting techniques
  • Siemens equipment proficiency: Utilize prior experience with Siemens equipment to provide specific insights and best practices related to Siemens rotating and compressor systems
  • Presentation skills: Deliver clear, engaging, and informative presentations, utilizing presentation materials, diagrams, and real-world examples to enhance understanding
  • Safety focus: Emphasize safety procedures and best practices related to the operation and maintenance of rotating equipment
  • Assessment and feedback: Evaluate participants' understanding of the material through quizzes, practical exercises, and feedback sessions, providing constructive criticism and guidance for improvement
  • Training material maintenance: Keep training materials up-to-date and relevant, incorporating the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
  • Technical background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Extensive experience: Proven experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of rotating and compressor equipment
  • Siemens experience preferred: Prior experience working with Siemens rotating and compressor equipment is highly desirable, ideally as a former installer and/or commissioning specialist
  • Training experience: Demonstrated experience in delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences
  • Subject matter expertise: In-depth knowledge of the design, operation, and maintenance of pumps, compressors, turbines, and related systems
  • Troubleshooting skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in rotating equipment
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Presentation skills: Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations using presentation software and other visual aids
  • Knowledge of industry standards: Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations related to rotating equipment
